Two wines from O’Briens this week. French sauvignon is less aromatic than Marlborough sauvignon so this is a more gentle expression, but still with plenty of refreshing fruit.
The Jumilla region is situated in southeast Spain, and their speciality is the Monastrell grape. Here it produces powerful wines with plenty of ripe fruit; perfect for those cooler spring evenings.

Rich and rounded with plenty of warmth alongside some ripe dark fruits and a smooth finish. Perfect with a steak or any substantial casseroles.
